custom scope/crosshair

okay, i am a noob to skinning/modelling, all that visual aid stuff.

i want to make a custom crosshair and scope, i know it needs to be in tga format, ill probably put it in pk3, but how du i make it support the crosshair and scope?

btw i haven't started, this is purely what iv learned.
