Until now, I just saw the screenies in this thread and I did check them now for the fourth time and I didn't see a single one where the center is free of lines.Lt. Striker wrote:Clean center like my center was too cluttered? Like you couldn't see to well in the center?
All I wanted to propose was that u could try a version where there is nothing in the 'bull's eye' and so to free the look at the target. If ur enemy was far away, he could be hidden behind these lines and this is rather bad, isn't it? The lines are perfect to give the player an idea of where the center is, but - imho - they shouldn't cover the center itself...

I agree wacko. The standard Axis sniper is WAY better than the Allied one because it is cleaner at the center. At distances I often feel the need to drop my aim a bit to be able to see if there are any enemies to the left and right that are hidden by the lines...
An ideal scope (to me) would have only the standard cross used in non-scoped mode.

An ideal scope, actually, would be the one on which those frigging lines were to be translucent... Or a little brighter... Or Sun reflecting... Those lines, or any lines in any scope made, would make any sniper happy if they were somewhat, somehow transparent...
Bah... Any effect that could let you still have the lines... But be able to look through the lines...
Do I make any sense...? Ok, there you have an idea, then...

zoom
I never noticed this before, but the Kar98 scope zoom-in is greater than the Springfield scope zoom-in!
thats how it is in real life .there are afew games that have these weapons also and always the kar98 has more zoom power .I never noticed this before, but the Kar98 scope zoom-in is greater than the Springfield scope zoom-in!
it is also more accurate than the springfield
try finding a big map and stand on one end and shoot something on the other side (while having high textures) .then shoot the exact same sopt again ,u will find that the 2 bullets have made 2 different holes .
but if u try that with the kar98 it will make only one hole

The blur is the tank commander shooting at me, but gladly I got him and he missed
. I don't know what the real springfield and kar98 scopes look like, if I knew I would make ones as close to the real ones as possible. So does everyone think this scope is better than the cluttered one?
