I'm guessing that you are just slapping the textures on without fitting them, so when you have the texture you want, on the brush you want, press Ctrl + F to fit the texture to the brush

Or...

Turn the texture quality up on the game :D

Hope this helps, Mj

Digibite, just a little piece of advise... Try to make a screenshot of what you're actually seeing and post it...

Not that I'll be giving you any solutions myself... But I know that will be a great help for the enlighted minds here... Cause it looks like no one is really sure of what's your real problem...

Hard to guess from your post, but here goes: I take your "pixel" comment as this: You see some kind of yellow/white or grey/white checkers textures right? If so you have used textures that ir missing in MOH:AA... that is the default texture when it cant load the correct texture.

I could be wrong, but its hard to tell when you don't show us a screenshot.

stripes

Post by tltrude »

What he means is, his texture has about 100 horizontal stripes. I'm sure you guys have seen that before. It happens mostly when working with patches. But, using a texture form Spearhead or BT in mohaa can do it to, I think. I see it mostly with grass textures.

Okay, thanks for the help so far,Here are some screens, and my next question :)

1)
As u can see at the screen at http://www.freewebs.com/digibite/afbeelding87.jpg
http://www.freewebs.com/digibite/afbeelding86.jpg
that the space between the "wooden" stripes on the texture are smaller than the section without the roof,How can i Make it look the same as the roofed wall???

2)
When u see the floor at
http://www.freewebs.com/digibite/afbeelding88.jpg
U see a that i used 3 brushes for the floor, and that looks sooo ugly,Im dutch so i cant explain it to well,as u might have noticed :P
So is it possible (if yes how) to connect the 3 brushes together?

Okay im off to play some more MoH:AA,hope ya can help me! :)

I'll try to help...

With the textures, you can apply a texture directly from one brush to another, copying the exact size of the texture too, so if you select your wall and if you have a three button mouse, wheel click, or if you have a two button, right click on a brush that has the texture that you want on it, and bingo!

Hope you understood that...

Well I don't exactly see what's wrong with the first 2...

On the third, what you did was fit the texture to face so its squished. Press 's' to bring up surface inspector and set the scale to 1 for x and y or play around with the scale and shifts until you get the desired effect.

ooops I see the prob in the first two. You've done a fit to face and messed up the scales. The scales must be set the same all of the alike textures otherwise they won't match. Your best bet is to manually adjust shift and scale rather than do a 'Ctrl = F'

Good. Personally I only use Ctrl + F for doors, and only the big faces. :D
