I am alive.

Post by Axion »

This is the first time that I've really been online in a long time (as I'm sure you all know), and I have recived two emails wondering where the hell I've been.

I've had some unexpected problems in my life as of late concerning family issues (The death of my grandparents) as well as some other ones that happened to coincide with it (My Internet not working, a hectic schedule for the swim team that I coach, as well as someother minor things) that have rendered me unable to spend hardly any time online for the past 2 weeks.

So, I'm writing this to let you all know that I am alive and trying to sort out all the messes I have had thrown at me in as speedy a manner as possible. I can't say exactly, but I should have everything back to normal by the end of next week, at the latest, so you can expect me to return by then.

I would like to apologize for my sudden disappearance without any later attmepts to inform anyone about what happened; it wans't my intent to leave all of you wonderful people at .map wondering where the hell I've been. Thank you for your concern.

I'm happy to see that you've already started getting things organized in my absence. Once again, I'm very sorry that I wasn't here to explain, and I hope that no one is angry, although I completely understand if you are.

For now, let's all focus on mapping and have fun!

Well I'm glad to hear you are still alive and kicking!

I am sorry to hear about your grandparents. I'm sure everyone here at .map sends their condolences.

Anyways as you can see lizardkid and I have the first competition underway, and I suppose since you are back, you could take over and I'll just be a judge or something like that.

Afternoon, Axion.

Condolences to you regarding your grandparents recent bereavement  .
My grandparents (two on mothers side; one on fathers side) are now well into their eighties so I can expect to receive the call any day between now and two decades time. :?

Condolences to you regarding your Internet-connections' recent bereavement  .
Unlike our grandparents, you can always replace your internet-connection :?

Cheers,
Scronty

my sympathies about your grandparents. Tell your family i send my condolences to them as well.

i hate to ask you now, but since it is iffy if you can host the mapping competitions until next week...
would it be okay with you if Blue and I kept up our competitions until you can get your self properly back into the groove of things? :?

hope things go better than they seem to have gone for you lately! :)

by the time he is officially back the competition would be over or nearing to an end ,so i dont think he would be able to administrate any of the competetions until he gets his life normal again (hope it happens soon  )

I'm sorry about your loss. Don't feel any pressure from us to hand around this site all day long, there are more important things than mapping.

Just take care of your loved ones and com back here when you are ready.
