The Battle of Cote 'd Azur

Post by blue60007 »

I would just like to announce that I am starting a small map pack, with an Old France theme, hence the name. Right now there are 3 Multiplayer maps in the works. Once these three are completed and released, I may make a Single Player campaign out of them. Once I have the first one completed I will give you more details and screenshots.

I probably won't need any help on these three maps, but if anyone would like to contribute a map or start making one email me @ blue60007@nalu.net

Just give me a holler and I'll give you more details.

Also this name is not final, if anyone sees and confilcts with other maps, let me know ASAP.

Thanks!

OK, we currently have enough mappers for the project. This thread will be for questions, comments, and updates.

Speaking of updates, here is the information:

There will be 5 SP levels for a campaign.
Three of which will also have a multiplayer level.

Here is how the 5 sp levels will go

The overall objective is to destroy a Facilit? Souterraine (Underground Facility)

1. Beach Landing
You arrive on the southern coast of France by a Higgens boat. You must first meet up with Jacques Le Rouge, he will then take you the gates of a small town and will wait for you to return.

2. Town Assault
You must make your way through the town, and find the entrance to the facility.

3. Going Down
You are going down an elevator and then at the bottom you must find a way to destroy the facility, once that is accomplished then you must evacuate the facility immediately.

4. Meltdown
The facility is now melting down. You must escape the town while it is collapsing into the facility.

5. ??
You get back in with Jacques and you must return to the beach.

Let me know what you think...

yeah, I'll look at a map of France and find a city and make some kind of technical name like, Paris Facility 1-B, something like that...

I have the site up in a temporary spot until I can get a better host.

Go http://bcda.t35.com/

You can check out the screenshots of Town Assault by going to multiplayer then the screenshots link in the map description area. The site is a little slow.

Also don?t get your hopes up this is something I whipped up in a couple hours, so its not to fancy.

Let me know what you think of the site an the screenies!!

Welp time for a quick update.

First off the beta of Going Down (SP) is finished.

I've started SP'ing Town Assault, so things are moving along...

EDIT: I would hope to have a few more screens of GD, the stairwell to the end...
