Saving Errors with MOHRadiant?

Post by Generalfeldmarschall Lars »

Hey! It seems as if I have a problem. Whenever I create a new map for the first time and save it and compile it, it works perfectly. But when I go back to the map and fix the errors and press save, the message that the map was saved I think is coming up a little bit too fast. When I recompile the map, I get the same map that I had before I fixed it?

Any tips from the experts?

Thanks,
Lars Triver

First check that you have only one "yournewmapname.map" and only one "yournewmapname.bsp". I found that after I had put my '.bsp' in a '.pk3' I had forgotten to remove other copies of the '.bsp'. Really messed me up for a while.

Put the new compiled map into the mohaa\main\maps(dm or obj) where you last put your old map. Then you must see the prompt "Do you want to replace xxx ..... with this xxx ....?"
Live to map, not map to live.
