I don't think you can lean a func_ladder, but you can make a ladder that just has steps. The steps have to be at least 4 units deep where the player stands--some people say 2 units.
Here is a prefab for a stepladder I made that does not use func_ladder.

I think you can, at least I saw it in Berlin TOW on one ladder that leaned up against a broken floor.

It's not using the func_ladder but its what he's looking for.

Yes I checked the Berlin .map that ships with the SH SDK and you can make angled ladders. Just make it like normal at a 90 degree angle, then rotate to the approriate angle. The angle key/value still applies in the same way.

Sy Agentmad007, I guess the bad grammer threw me off what you were really trying to say. I read it 10 times and it still doesn't make much sense.

I think he was agreeing with you, HogLeg.
That extention ladder in explodingdoor doesn't work as well as the stepladder perfab--you get hung up in spots.

(agentmad007, don't worry about it, at least you take the time to try and help people with questions. Some people just ask away (and that's fine) but sometimes they seem to forget it usually takes more time to come up with and write down the answers (especially when writing in a foreign language) than it does to write the question. And then there are those folks who ask, get what they need and never respond back, imho that's pretty lame. This has nothing to do with this thread but it's just an observation. Sorry, had to get that out.
