A new competition has started, Underground Cave System. It is open for any .map member to apply and compete against fellow mappers. Current discussion of this competition is here. You have until midnight Sunday (GMT) to sign up. Then Monday you can begin to map! You'll have until next Wednesday the 26th and you must have the map into one of the judges by midnight (GMT) to be eligible for judging.

As for prizes go, a .map avatar stating that you came in first place will be given to the winner. Also you will have braging rights to go along with it.
We just want to let everyone know that there are competitions and that we have started them. As jv_map has pointed out posting here should bring some more attention to the competition, as everyone may not have noticed the addition of the 'Mapping Competition' forum.
