bridge on the river kwai

just finished building the bridge for my map which is gonna be based on the film 'bridge on the river kwai'

Looking nice, pretty detailed.
Just a few things...
1) Some of your support beams look like they have been glued on to the bridge, maksure to add some kind of support so it would look more natural.
2) I dont know, it might be just me, but I think it would look better if the poles that are holding up the bridge (the ones in the middle) would actually be settled into water instead of the little island.

This is only constructive criticism, dont take it to hear, rather look at it as helpfull tips!

yeah i hear what ur saying , i was working from a picture , the original support beams(light coloured beams) are nailed and binded to the main support(dark coloured beams) not sure how else to do it.

You can try making a 3 sided tiny brush and pretend it was a nail....

Cool bridge :) (would have been great for the mapping comp ;)).

I was gonna make a river kwai map :cry: Looks like ya beat me to it :(

But....! Ive been there (to the bridge(which doesnt exist any more)) and a metal bridge has replaced it. But if you need any help with the map, (and when i fix my sodding computer) I'll be only too happy to help!

btw, Nice bridge :wink:
