Textures upside down

Post by Micky2003 »

When i apply a wall texture inside my building the textures upside down from what it supposed to be. Any ideas how to fix this? Ive tried ctrl+f to fit to face but its to streched and doesnt look proper.

There are a couple of ways to fix it. One is to select one or more faces and hit key S to bring up the surface inspector. With it you can rotate, scale, and nudge the texture into looking the way you want it. Another way is to make the brush small before you hit Ctrl F, and then stretch the brush to the size you need it to be.

If the texture is upsie down, you might want to hit "S" and goto ROTATE on that screen. Yup it should be that easy!

If I get a backwards or upside-down texture, I just change the scale in the surface editor to a negative value:

Horizontal: 1
Vertical: - 1 (or whatever your value happens to be)

better way to flip your textures if they are reveresed is bottom right of your radiant, x flip, y flip, fit, random, cycle, cap, natural and more :)

nice buttons :)

"If I win this war, you will be slaves forever."
The Spartan ephors sent back a one word reply: "If".
