Now, if I could just get a few people to test this thing. It looks nice and all, but could be total crap.

Honestly I was afraid of that a bit too... especially since it seems a very open map (not many places to hide, sneak or cover).

Oh, there are more places to hide and sneak around in than you can count. That's what I was concerned about... too many places to hide!

Although it's awesome as it is, I got to agree with Diego the ground looks like a neatly mown (<-- is that how it's supposed to be spelled? or is it mowed?) soccer field :P Some more color (and a few loose plants) would do it much good I think...

Unfortunately, adding any significant quantity of blade grass transparencies causes severe performance loss, especially when you get close to it. I'd need directX9 shader functions to render blade grass that doesn't kill framerates and MOHAA doesn't support DirectX9. However, the grass texture I'm using tends to break up in the distance and doesn't look flat, but you can't see that in the images.

Damn, I'd love to have some people test this thing with me; unfortunately it's about an 80 meg package to DL.

Compressed and everything?

I'd love to test it, but I have a 56k as well. I could download it with a download manager if you have place to host it. My email server doesn't allow resuming downloads, so email's out of the question. Unless you could break it up into seperate packages. Online testing is out of the question for me, since my ping would go through the roof.

I will have to do some work packaging things down to a managable size and remove the scripting for items I can't package (without the entire 300 meg HITP2), but I think I can get the FT in.

Give me a day or two.
