3D view of textures wrong

Post by speterso »

Hi All,

Brilliant site!

I'm a bit of a newbie to mapping and hope someone can help me with my problem. In the 3d camera view in mohradiant, when I apply a texture to a brush face, the look of the texture on the face doesn't match what actually happens in the game. If I use the surface inspector to get it to look right in mohradiant, it will be about 4 times too small in the game.

The only way I can get it right in the game is to scale it x 2 and guess the horizontal /vertical shift. This is very annoying.

I've looked all over mohradiant and fiddled with a few settings, but to no avail.

Any help you can give would be most appreciated

Cheers

Sam

Search the forums for "tiled".

Thanks folks,

I did as you suggested Tom. I was compiling from within mohradiant and when I installed mbuilder my problem disappeared.

Cheers
