LOD Terrain & Sky Box

Post by Killer_Gibson_SG »

Hi a quick question.

If you create a LOD terrain with a dip the width/length of the map for a river that has gentle slopes either side. How do you create the sky box so that it butts up against all parts of the terrain, including where the slopes appear and Down to the river bed, without overlapping the rest of the terrain? would you have to create 3 seperate brushes 2 for the sides and 1 for the river section clipping it to shape?

Hope you can understand what I am trying to ask lol
many thnx for any help in advance

The sky does not have to be a rectangular box. It can have as many brushes as you need. Below the terrain, you can use caulk brushes to "seal" your world. Study the map named "m4l0" that is in the "docs" folder of MOHAATools. Filter out all but sky, caulk, and lod terrain from your view.
