well,is it released?
i heard from a friend that it is released but i cant find it anywhere .the closest thing i found to that is a beta (release candidate 1) .so if it is released where can i dload it? if not well,thnx for telling me :wink:

i read something bout it being released.. i think it even came with my new PC :D

just do updates.microsoft.com - it'll scan, see if u have it, if not u can d/l from there, itt be on the list of needed updates if u dont have it ;)

true, but u can freephone Microsoft, and they send u a CD with it on free ;)

well,phoning microsoft wont work for 3 reasons that i can think of .i am too far ,egypt is not on the "suport" map of microsoft ,and the 3rd well.... lets just say they wouldnt send the cd if they know it !!! :wink:

if i do that,ill have to download it on one go .i was planning on using a download manager to download it over a long period of time (specially when i am at the forums) .i tried looking manually at microsofts site and using search engines but the closest ive come to is the release candidate 1 of sp2

Beta versions are being tested now, but a final release is supposed to be mid-ear...

well,i heard from my friends that sp2 is awesome .it has this and that and blah blah blah blah ..... but the problem is its not released yet !!! and i know he isnt lying to me ,he isnt that type .
so could have he been talking about the beta?

well ur good friend kai0ty with the cable internet doesnt see anything on the microsoft webpage. if u go to the windows update site itll scan and tell u what's available. i didnt find anything, im on a legal version of XP home.
