Messed up Screenshots

Post by Cheetohs »

How come when i take screenshots and want to view them. practically the entire screenshot is blacked out with a small corner or fragment still original. I don't understand why it's doing this, it never did before i got my computer upgraded! I use Picture It Publishing and Paint Shop Pro for .tga viewing...

Are you using the built in screenshot thing? Or are you using PSP to take the screens?

Well start up PSP, then go to File > Imort > Screen Capture > Setup

There you can set up how you want to take the screenshot. I have it set up so F10 is the hotkey for it. Then you start.

Well in case the wonderful suggestions above didn't help you could try disabling anti-aliasing on your vid card if you have it enabled.

I think it is. You don't need to open all of the targa's then convert them and then resave and delete the old ones. This way you can save them directly and edit them.

Once you click on 'Capture Now' or 'Start' from the menus I said above, PSP minimizes and then you can load mohaa. I'm not sure if the pictures get put into a temp file or if they stay in RAM so be careful not to overload the RAM with too many pictures...

Another way you can do it is just use the print screen key on your keyboard to copy the screen to the clipboard . Then open your PSP or Photoshop and make a new picture then use paste .If you have one of those 2 monitor setups though it will copy both monitors into a wide picture .

well, that happened to me also !!! the whole map is pitch black except the small corner with the score and time . i experienced this with only one map ,fastandfurious (which is Mj's map) .but i dont think its map related ,yet i cant figure out why this happened .i tried brightning up the screenshot by editing means but nothing happened .and i dont have anti aliasing on

I use to have the same problem. I have a Radeon video card.

i also have a radeon card (9200) with the latest drivers
