3rd Competition Ideas?

Post by blue60007 »

Well lizardkid's going to be gone until friday or so, but until then how about we talk about ideas for the next competition. Hopefully this time everyone will get their's in.

I really don't have any ideas at the moment, but I'm all open for ideas.

I may add a poll to this once a few ideas are in.

I have an idea!!! I have a half completed map, that I stopped working on! The contestants would have to finish the map, and we'd have to score it aa bit different...

Brilliant! Someone starts the map, and the others finish it. Sorta like them stories where you have to fill in the ending.

I'm doing that already. It's called my first map. A friend started it, but quit mapping so I took over even though I didn't know diddly-squat about mapping at the time. Great way to learn, but I'm not sure I would do it again. It was a bit restrictive in some ways because he had already designed so much of it. I had to limit my changes to fit within his initial structure.

Hopefully your map is smaller to allow for more variations.

Oh, by the way... when you guys are done picking up MadMapper's slack, I've got a lot of things I've left unfinished that you guys can do for me, too: Washing the car, mowing the lawn, painting the house, taking out the trash, neutering the cat....

We'd have to start like maybe a room or two, and get a basic theme going...

Maybe you could put your car in disk cleanup, maybe the lawn too. Do you think you could put your house in Paint? :? There's always the recyle bin. Eh, I don't know about the last one though... :?

There are only 10 kinds of people in this world; those who know what binary is, and those who don't.

Like blind mapping or something, or at least poor vision mapping.

Oh I know, close your eyes while mapping. I could map the best map with my eyes closed and my hands tied behind my back, hahahah - *clears throat* eh where was I? :?
