Destroyed model jumper

Dose anyone know how to stop my tank from jumping into a wall when it is blown up? It moves forward about half the length from the non-destroyed model position. It is a script object and I'm using the objective tutorial from this site as the script. The origin on top is for sound and the emitter in front is for smoke when it fires. The bomb and trigger are in the back.

$bomb1.trigger_name = $trigger2
$bomb1.target.target = $trigger2
$bomb1.target.destroyed_model = "models/vehicles/shermantank_damaged.tik"
$bomb1.explosion_fx = "models/emitters/explosion_tank.tik"
$bomb1.explosion_sound = "sound/weapons/explo/explo_metalmed1.wav"
