I'm sorry to ask another question about doors.
I haven't mapped in awhile and I'm doing some needed updates. I can't quite remember where I found the "triggerable doors" tutorial.
And also is there a way to fix the doors so they don't swing "at you" when you open them? I know I saw it before but I quite frankly don't remember
Thanks for the help!
(i appollagize if the tut is already on the site.. I may be blind)

Make a trigger, unselect everything (esc), then select the trigger first, then the door brush and press ctrl + k. You should see a line from the trigger to the door... that's all

to stop doors swinging towards you. You need to set the angle of the door
Press N to call up Entity then put the key / values in ie Key Angle Value 90

Kate is right, the rotating door's angle must always be set to one of the directions players will face to use it (same with ladders).
Here is a tutorial map that has around 35 doors--including a remote door.

Btw, remotely triggered doors should have the "Targeted" flag set.

Very weird map. I got stuck in a pink room with no way out.
