Brush overlap error

Post by Faceball »

Almost forgot to ask. I made some new additions to a map i am working on and have had no problems that i couldn't figure out as of yet.

Yesterday i went to compile my map and at the very beginning i noticed an error(2errors) Entity 0, brush 32: duplicate plane
Entity 0, brush 37: duplicate plane

I looked around and saw nothing wrong while checking out the map. Is this something that will cause a big problem? Is there an easy way to figure out where the two brushes are?
I think these might be created after 40 breakable windows i made. Maybe windows 32 and 37.

Thx for nay help.... :D

This usually happens when you drag two edges over each other. It's a good idea and often easy to fix.

In radiant, click: misc -> find entity / brush and type:
entity: 0 (worldspawn)
brush: 32 (first time)

entity: 0
brush: 37 (next)

The invalid brushes will be selected. Best press backspace and recreate.

Nope, but not a bad idea like jv said to go back and fix it :)
