hi all,
compiled my whole map ,then when i came back home builder finished his work , and surprise no bsp !
i did a new compile again, and this time i stayed right in fornt of my compu to see what is the error that prevent builder to make my bsp .....after 4 hours finally it say Max_original_Edge error
can someone explain me plz ? I checked the compile topic at the top , but it is not listed there .

The answer is, "we don't know what that is"! If you want, you can send me the .map file and I'll try to find the error.

I think the problem is you have to many gold bars on the walls. That is probably causing the Max_Original_Edges error. Your map has over 12000 brushes.
Also, you have three info_player_start and there should only be one. I don't see why you need 80 allied spawn points and 61 axis in the map. The max number of players is 32 for each team. You can switch spawn points off and on in the script. So, I guess that is what you are doing.
The area portals do not like the texture "stars". I fixed all the area portals and added a lot more detail. There were many, many holes and overlapping brushes. But now there are 18 areas.
I don't know why it takes 3 hours to "merge faces", but I did not want to wait for it to finish.
