I'm attempting to make a single player map... but when i actually get my guys to follow me, it crashes my level
Its says it has something to do with an infinate loop in the friendly.scr... and something to do with "NULL"
Sorry for lack of 'detailed error reporting'
But if anyone can help, i would be grateful

NULL must be like NEL, which means "no value". You must be calling the frindly script wrong. Have you studied the game scripts where the frindlies follow you? The first m5 map does that, I think.

go mj!!! sp rocks!!!
in any case, make sure you have proper pathnodes, your friendly is named $friendly1 (or any num really) and he has #fnum# (where the end # is a number, never tried it above 9) etc.

#fnum#
Do i need to use this fnum in the script? or just make sure he (they) have one?

that may be your problem, it's a property for the ai, so put it in via the Entitiy window, key/value like so
#fnum - 1
that may be it, let me know if it isn't....
another thing, have you specifed the friendlytype? regular infantry should be friendlytype = 1

Make a log with logfile 2, then start your map, and when it has crashed look at main/qconsole.log.
You'll probably find a
huge list of errors at the bottom of the file, so scroll up and post the first error right here
