Not really m8, once they got the hang of the spawns a guy with a weapon in his hand dont need his hand lead into combat.

Couldnt get much simpler than that and they have some variety.
The extras we place in would obviously take fps into account and we can chop n change to suit.

That idea was also just to let peeps that dont like flying have something to do - its now in the "to do later jar" for now as we arent that good at mapping yet.

With the current model you do walk up to the Aircraft to obtain 1 ;)

the map idea sounds cool.......

About your different spawn sector, like said bjarne , people will be lost in what objectives they have to achieve.

why not making a kind of Tug of war ? (more simple)

But the objectives will be right in front of them as will be enemy soldiers, we arent really bothered about the obj m8 its more a map for the planes to show off in, anything else is a bonus. We can modify it until its viable and peeps are happy.

If we can get the map sorted with a few things thrown in we can release the Aircraft mod quicker ;) - i will of course do the compiling

After that we will of course give the map the works until were happy with what its doing

Trust me - i know what im doing ;)

soooo - doesnt anyone want to help? The first ever public release of flyable aircraft - thats gotta be worth helping?

The extreamely compex map you suggest ( with the different areas ) sound really cool, but I don't think it will be a good map to show off the utter coolness of your planes...

Did you find any useful aircraft moddels b.t.w. ?

Hi Bjarne,
Yeh, were just throwing something together for the first release, hopefully we will get that other one into motion soon, maybe for another "Runway Sorties" kinda mission :) - its in the "do later jar" now.

Yes the links produced a few more models :)
they just dont have skins - i havent used anything like that before but from what i can make out we just need a few pix of the aircraft - sides/top/bottom - and animate a prop.

I only have access to milkshape and have no idea how to use it yet lol
(mixing it all at the moment-mappin/scripts/models - murder)
