At last after an hour of searching i found a webhoster!

Get it here!

I would ask kindly if this map can be .map reviewed?

A bit of spec on it>

a small map, good for lan, up to 6 players is recommended, but more can be supported. FFA rules, TDM sucks! :P The FPS barely falls below 90 8-)

Thanks chaps,

Mj

EDIT: Get the screenies :)

Not showing everything as this map is made mainly of little passages...
So please dont go by the screenies, the thing that makes this good is the fluidity of the play :D

Thanks again,

Mj

well,shiftey counts as one .
i managed to talk him into reviewing ,but i dont think he wants it anymore
and martijn_nl said he was going on a holiday and it seems he never came back
he was supposed to review my map (or the improved version of it) but he didnt come back .so the improved version is lying in the recycle bin

Well i tried to dl the map but it said you need more bandwidth.

I will try again tommorow but i warn you, I am usually the last person you want reviewing the map cuz i tend to be critical on things like fps and and playability. Once ive had a look i will throw up some comments for ya.

if thats how u review maps than this map is gonna get a 10 out of 10 .
its fps is normally in the 200's ,and the playibility just rocks .heavy close quarters fighting is what characterises this map

I must say, i am the biggest critic ever, and i mainly like to critisize things i make... and i think this is rather good :)

Plays well, runs well on my crappy comp at home, and even manages to look good in the process

Thanks for the good word(s) M&M 8-)

First lets start with the good stuff. Ok was able to dl the map and ran through it a couple of times. Now i see why it is called fast and furious. It is a small to medium sized map that would be good for 8 to 16 players. I believe the name of the map couldnt possible describe how it plays any better. Its hard to gauge fps on the machine i tested it on but with high settings and a very low mtex number i think it should perform well in regards to fps.

I would also have to agree that the map looks good while i was running around. Just enough levels of details without feeling cluttered and not too much that it would drain performance. Things like bullnosed (rounded) corners, colored lighting, and utility systems like pipes and electrical conduits are nice touches.

Next some not so good stuff. From what i gathered it was designed for those who tend to battle up close and personal. SHotguns would most likely rule the map. This may be intentional but its not a personal preference of mine. Also I dont know if its just me but after fraggin ala mohaa for so long it gets redundant to see the same textures and themes used over and over. I think some custom textures could go along way in that department. Anything you could add to make it more original would be a huge bonus.

Lastly i have a question about the concrete "skybox". Wouldnt really be nessicary unless there was a leak somewhere or the whole thing is detail. And i didnt hear any ambient sounds. Were they there and i just missed them somehow?

Overall i believe this map is worthy of putting in rotation. It might not be everything i enjoy about custom maps but it has enough to give it a thumbs up.

Now ambient sounds, that is a good point! And personally i think this map is better for smg's, but i suppose shotties would rule...

The concrete skybox was cause there was a leak somewhere, and it refused to vis compile otherwise, but i will find and stop the gap afore i let this map loose. Also i have found a few glitches myself, so i will patch up this map, and repost it

Thanks for the comments random 8-)

personally ,my weapon of choice here is the MG however i did try the shotty once and it had a very nice effect .not as good as my MG (my weapon on choice in any map) .

edit:
no dont kill any1 ,we barely have reviewers here .(so thats why they are disappearing !!)
try talking to eithr shifty(last surviving official reviewer) or one of the admins

btw ,there are some SP maps reviewed here as well ,perhaps u would want to take a look at them
