Ok, Bushes next to walls, not good combo?

Post by Patroclus »

Ok, I have a map of a house where I have bushes ad trees right next to the wall of the house... I looks good on the out side, but in several places on the inside the leaves are in the house.
I dont think that bobbing foliage is the correct decor for the dining room, is there a way to keep the bushes on th out side, but get rid of them on the inside?

thanks

Well you could scoot the tree over, make the walls thicker, or adjust the scale on the tree until it stays outside.

Big A

On the menu bar of the editor there is a big "A" icon. When that is pressed, the branches and leaves will look more like they do in the game. That should help you adjust them so they don't go through the walls.

yah, it also does that when you r zoomed in closer... however, my prob is that I have 70 or so trees and bushes and they take allong time to adjust each one by itself...

but I did and I looks better, thanks...

one way to select more than one thing is to use one of the seletion keys at the top of radiant like select inside or select complete tall etc to use them make a brush over or around the trees you want to move and use one of the buttons and move the selected models all at once just be sure not to select the wall .

Only way to do that is to make a completely new model that has one side clipped.
