well,the site seems to be overloaded !!! i managed to finally dload the mod and it simply ROCKS !!!!
ive found a couple of issues and since the forums are down ill post them here .
in the controls screen (F2) the always run option is called
alays run
.so u forgot the w

also ,in the dock map (day) when i fire weapons (shotgun mainly) the weapons make bullet holes on the wall which looks fine ,but a few mini-seconds later a glow-like effect appears as if they impacted .i think u need to sort that out .from a good enough distance its not noticable .but in close range it gets really annoying .i think the effect itself shouldnt be there as it looks wierd ,but maybe thats because its misplaced .

still beta testing but i like it so far .had no issues w/ sound not being there also :wink:

now someone can work on a mod based in the future w/ laser guns and stuff :D

hehe jking.

I love it guys, good work. I liked it so much I decided to use my clans 2nd server as a MW server 8-)

If anyone wants to play it's [EASY] Company's Modern Warfare Server - 69.93.91.250

(it's running 2 crappy custom maps that I made in rotation so dl. those at easy-clan.com)

I just want to report a error:

When you set the texture filter, in the video option, to Bilinear, the game will shutdown while loading.

But if it is trilinear, it doesn't shutdown.

Don't know if this error is only on my PC :lol:

JV - are u gonna gte it on any magazine disks or anything? cos its 100mb and its gonna kill my 56k about 20hrs literally to d/l and my dad wont want a massive phone bill rinning up, how are poor 56k'ers gonna get hold of ur wonderful creation?

are u planning on CD distribution at all? I'd pay for the amazing mod, P&P, if u wrote it on a CD and mailed it :D

Oopsie :oops: It is now on the things to fix list. Thank you for finding this and taking the time to post it here.

I will double check the values for both Bilinear and Trilinear. Hopefully i didnt incorrectly set the linkstring values.


Also thanks for bringing this to our attention even though i do beleive that the issue could be local :(

Any new versions, you should have one download for the music and then a seperate for maps/models/scripts/textures... I'm trying to think here if you had two paks, mypak1 and mypak2, would the latter ovewrite the first? If so then later fixes could be made as a patch, so it's a smaller download rather than redownloading 90% unchanged stuff again, would also save on bandwidth. :wink:

For 56k users there now is a segmented install available consisting of a number of 5 MB files.

lucky u ,i had to start dloading form 2 am and finished at 2 pm .had to stop for 3 hours in the middle because the dload rate kinda dropped to 2.2 .and there was one of those hours where the server seemed to have temporarily stopped working .

btw jv ,i noticed a few other things .the machine gun is in place of the smg gun in the weapons choice menu .(not very important)
and the new compass is not that nice imo ,i really liked the old compass because it gave u help on where ur getting hit form and where the next objective is .its now very hard to determine the objectives

thats what differentiats pros from ... err non pros :P
but honestly ,it was really useful when i get hit i can look directly to who is hitting me and fire back .60 % of the time i manage to kill the guy b4 he kills me .but now i feel blind 8-)

well i love playing it in SP as well :) easy fun, but me mam doesn't like the blood mod... how can i disable it?

I noticed you made the front page of TMT, great work guys :)

I started to download but had to stop as I wanted to shoot some people.

I will download it in the morn, I checked the webpage, weapons look lovely, cant wait to fly the chopper :)

But luckily i've still got type!

Wow, the maps are incredible! High(ish) FPS, great textures, great designs, realistic, and i LOVE the docks Obj :D

Its so clever!

And amazingly....

In normal MoH:AA, i have never been able to really team up with a random person. In MoH:MW, I had a randomsquad of 6. and that was after playing for 3 hours (not on same servers) And this phenomenon continued! People teamed up constantly, and i was *Speechless*!!!

All those who helped make Modern Warfare,
