Well I've been looking forward to this one for ages and as soon as it's out I get PC Probs!!! Aghhhhhhhhhhh

I'll give feedback when I'm up and running again.

I counted the total downloads from all the download sites I could find for Modern Warfare. (filefront, mohfiles etc.)

6033 total downloads :shock: , but ofcourse there are more download links.

And there are already 35 servers up with the mod :D

Really awesome, this mod rulzz

Thanks for the great mod Jv_map and all of the other people who worked so hard. The mod looks very attracting.
Just one legal tip, you might not want to use the "Splinter Cells Sam Fisher" as it is proprietary.

The new skins look great!

this mod has done a renaissence in my cybercafe !!!!
mohaa was starting to die and lose its edge ,this is surely gonna keep it in play for alot more time !!!

Too bad I already downloaded the whole thing... When it comes time for the next version make a whole new one and then provide the changed files and let us 56kers just copy and paste them into the first pk3. or something...

Ya there will just be an update pk3 :) and maybe a full zip containing both pk3s or so 8-)

Great! Yeah best to have a patch pk3, and then the full thing, that way first time downloaders are set...

It is a great MOD but a few things The sniper rifles are way too powerfull to the point they are the only weapon most ppl use & there are already wallhacks for your custome textures
I have repeatedly found that enemy players are shooting at me well a fence is in the way & have whatched friendlys fire into fences as well not realizing they are hitting a fence!
I know dumb ppl will do dumb things no matter what you say or do
But the number of ppl I find using wall hacks is a bit disturbing!

I havent played Allied Assault in almost a year, As ether less ppl on SH/BT use hacks or they just hide it better ( I do find ppl on SH/BT that use various hacks ) there are alot & they realy dont hide it very well. One server I was on I saw 5 out of 8 players exibiting wall hack traites.
One guy was unstopable you turned a corner he pumped a round in your head from across the map then droped the next 3-5 guys all at difrent spots just as they came into the open

I am learning scripting & Did open your files to see how you made the weapons work it is intresting but beyond my total comprehension

Key things shouldnt the M203 have a slower rate of fire, & have more rounds ( normaly that kit carries 8-10 rounds on there vest? )
Plus the Gp30 can it use HE rounds like the M203? it has what looks to be a name conversion in the files but it dosn't change the name when I change the ammo type as the file sugests?

I dont mean any disrepect opening your files But I do feel if your going to do it you should tell the creator of the file so they can work with you to understand how they work!

I have been looking through to make a SH/BT test version with what I can work with for the most part I pulled all your anti cheat files & the weapons limiter as I guess they are what cause problems with the stock maps & with the other game versions
Plus I made the in game menu stock so the vote options can be used ( I still need practice at changeing menu buttons )

The score count is overlapping the numbers by the way!

& can the chat box be moved to the left more?

Wow that is a lot of stuff yay good stuff too :)

As far as the m203 and gp30 are concerned giving them more ammo would really overpower them, though you can set their ammo count via the cvars mw_m16_nades and mw_ak47_nades.

Sniper accuracy and damage will be reduced in the patch.

Cheaters will still be a problem :(

y don't you jsut whip some counter-cheats up? you're easily the best of anyone (including the 2015 guys) at Quake 3 scripting. can't you 'counter-hack' the maps etc?

the problem is if he dose that he will have open code avaliable for the hackers to view & counter hack

as I said there is already Wall hacks for the custom textures so it wouldnt take long for the hackers to counter anything he dose in open code or even if he could write code into the game engine there are ppl out there that could get to it

the point is there are less people who are going to get to the open script ,and even less who are going to get to the hardcoded stuff .
so in reality he will have limited there numbers significantly ;)

Had a great Idea for a map for your MOD
Presidential Motor Cades:

Allies are the Secret service

Axis are of course the terrorists

Small map with strike vehicles that allies spawn in at start & have to open doors to get out & fight with some windows that can be shot out. have the Presidents limo in front with the engine shot out & a spot for a bomb to be planted if not 2 or three

I got this idea from watching "Behind Closed Doors with Jonne London" she was allowed to watch the Secret Service counter strike team practice a mobile deployment but they were not allowed to show how the agents got out of the suburban they were riding in ( All you could see was the front grille of the suburban. BANG! Then the agents were instantly on the ground in front of the suburban in two 4 man trains as it is called, Putting down a base of fire well the limo escaped with the other 2 support vehicles as well as the counter strike teams suburban)

I was left to wonder how they got out of the suburban so fast well maintaining there tactical formation. It took me all of 2min to remember that the Secret Service builds all its vehicles from the ground up them selves & to realize it was imposable for them to get out the two back doors in formation SO! this is how they did it!

The back doors are Fake
the whole roof of the back of the suburban splits down the center & flips down to the sides of the vehicle allowing the 8 HEAVLY armed men to step down on to the step the now folded down roof provides & deploy in there 4 man formation on ether side of the vehicle at the same time or stay on the vehicle providing fire support well they & the limo drive away
Pretty cool hay! It is the only way that I could see they could deploy as one unit all at once

So a map with a street & some side streets with lots of buildings for the terrorists & the counter strike team to hide in once they get away from the motor cades maybe a Static Black Hawk sitting on one end of the map over a building that allies can spawn in & jump down to the roof from

I will start working on it but will need help with scripting the doors
