Having an issue with a ladder......

Post by G3mInI »

I have redone lolv2 with permission from the author. I have tripled the fps and in some cases much more. Everything is all good except this one problem area. I cannot figure out for the life of me why the player cannot get off of the top of the ladder. What I have done is copy the area in question and made a small map of it. Included are the .map file and the .bsp I generate. If anyone can help me as to why this ladder is not working I would be grateful. Thing is there are several other ladders in this map and they all work just fine. They were all copied from one another and adjusted for length. I have a feeling there is an invisible brush or something blocking the player. Anyhow any help would be appreciated.

Hey thanks a lot!!!!

So the player was actually falling in between the ladder and the wall ?

Well whatever thanks a lot. I just have to copy this one part and recompile the map which will take about 90 min.

Peace out,
