Map in server?

Post by Red-PhoeniX »

How do I get my .bsp map in my server (or at least be able to pick sides and a gun)? I know it probably needs to be pk3, but how do I get it that way?

Thanks in advance

if your map is a dm/tdm your bsp need to be in a maps/dm folder

for objective map it should be maps/obj folder

if its on your own server , you dont need necessary to make it pk3, but i guess you wont play alone on your server :D .

Use pacscape to make it pk3, google around for this tool .Once you get it, create new , and paste your folder in , and save as ..........pk3

any particular reason why people use pakscape instead of winzip? Never actualy used pakscape, downloaded it but it seemed redundant =)

just wondering... maybe it has some magical powers im not aware of =)

You can save directly as .pk3, no renaming
