Im really confused here...I built a door way and put a frame around it...two side brushes and a brush at the top. I copyed the texture from another door frame I had already made. In game it pulses red for some reason.
So I thought maybe it copyed something from the other door so I picked a totally different texture and applied that...still blinks. I have no clue why, nothing in my script that would do that and I didnt touch my enitity window when making the frame or textureing it. Any thoughts?
There's a pulsating texture in moh, I used it for my robots eyes.
Try redrawing the door frame instead of copying it or recaulk it deselect then retexture.
"all the governments in the world are corrupt and in the hands of the Illuminati"
Yeah i did redraw it about 4 times...I figured it out I think...I open up the texture editor and it said the texture was a iron_door_pulsating...so I deleted pulsating and I hope that was the problem.
Yes it's supposed to pulsate, it's in the shader. THere are some SP missions where things like the bombs pulsate, well there's something (an objective) that pulsates... Look there is also a iron_door, without the pulsate, Actually there are several others that do it.
You can also make your own pulsating textures the use different colors and alpha channels. I built a disco in my map with a flashing dance floor and pulsating neon signs.
You can see an image of it here... It's the really pink one
