Hey MJ, why not take a laptop with ya and map while you have some free time. I bet there are a lot of interesting buildings and stuff over there. You could recreate one of the towns or cities that you are near while your there lol.

I think you might find that the normal mohaa mud texture would work for 90% of Indian Buildings :)

Why does quote never work for me :)
Philip II of Macedon sent a message to Sparta:
"If I win this war, you will be slaves forever."
The Spartan ephors sent back a one word reply: "If".

The boatyard has an old computer with a 56k modem! And, i must say, i feel sorry for all you with it! India is fabulous, a real pick 'n' mix of colour, building shape and materials, and is a complete texture heaven for the mod i am in (TVW) being semi tropical (damn the lack of digi-cam). My brither and I seem to be the only white people in the area (cochin, karela, south india) and recieve stares, waves, and barrages of children saying "Hihi! Hi! Hello! How are you! Hihi!" and as long as we respond (they dont understand what we say) they are happy. The food is curry for breakfast, curry for lunch, and curry for dinner. Needless to say, even on my fourth day i am already fed up of the stuff. The water is horrible! Keep some tapwater in a rubber welly outside for a week, and you will have an aproximation of the taste! All the Indians are really nice: energetic, friendly and keen to help. but with thier grasp of english holding a real comprehensive conversation is impossible, as you are forced to re-say everything many times...

Anyway, i think this post would have done M&M proud in length (must be a 56k thing  and i will attempt to get some decent pictures with me old camera! The temptation to keep snapping shots of walls and floors is driving me crazy  (ive only got another 5 rolls of film left  )

Anyways, only 23 days to go :o Must go take photos!
