Stripes on Walls

Post by DonMoneta »

Hello..

I have always tried to solve problems myself.. but this one has made me mad and i still do not have a solution. I'm currently facing stripes on the walls where one ends and another starts.

I have tried mittering it but that kinda messes up the windows if you understand that.. Ive tried retexturing it and ive tried caulking everything and only caulking one side..

This problem occurs when u make one brush, make another in it and CSG substract it.. cuts it up in different parts but if ur watching it from a certain place you see the lines..

Much appreciated to anyone for the help, alot of thanks to the forum posters who have already helped me with their own posts and thanks for the tuts :)

could it have to do with the texture quality under settings? maybe ur settings are set up somehow so it does that :?

yea it looks like you got your texture settings on lowest, brush joins often show up funny the lower the settings, even tho that does seem a bit extreme.

i think Random, that he meant that he hopes he won't need help again.

btw Don, thanks for not asking a Q about anything when you have available tuts and manuals.

Yeah i figured thats what he meant but i had noticed that he asked a question about a topic that, like was pointed out didnt already have a tut on it. Also I noticed that he responed to another question, and accurately btw, by someone that had many posts most of which are topics already covered or are in tuts. (and that tends to drive me nuts.) So i understand what he meant by not having to post again which would mean he wouldn't have more problems, but i was hoping he would again because he seemed like a person with good forum eticate and some mapping knowledge to boot.

So im my own weird way i was thanking him for his good manors and helpful attitude. We like that sorta thing around here
