Sorry that I missed a couple people on IRC about 3-4 days ago - its crunch time here at work (EA-Tiburon) with the release of C&C:Generals (If you like strategy games, this is flat out awesome! Of course they give you a complete editor with that, but not MOH, bleh). Anyway I work the whole month of January solid, so I know a couple folks who can't beta the map for me (sorry!). Anyway, to keep on topic, I've made some hills/cliffs/berms/etc and It seems like the player sometimes goes up to knees in the terrain while running up/over the hills. The spots aren't where LOD Terrain and brushes meet, only on the LOD. Is this pretty common, or should I run caulk under the terrain for a more solid look and feel? Will that kill the Mtex and FPS? Im thinking since its not drawn, it shouldn't but Im hoping for another opinion. Oh also btw - On vid cars - Ti4600 or 9700 pro? Both about the same price, anything from a mappers standpoint that one performs better than the other? Thanks!

When is that game coming out? I love C&C games!!! C&C Generals does its run through tomorrow actually - if that passes CDC, it gets shipped, if not, back to QA to squish more bugs, then another CDC pass. The game is great - I love starcraft, this is that by a hundred. The 3 sides are balanced - it was something like USA 34% China 33% and GLA 32% of winning games. Each has its own strategy, and cool units. I love the fact you can run you guys into buildings, and start firing missiles out of them! Your infantry will usually get massacred vs armor (as it should be), but you gotta have em for many things. Not to say to much, but I know I'll be playing my copy!
Nice thing about EA - all games for PC $10! 
Thanks for the tip with the clip all - didn't even think of that, I was just going to use caulk. And tomorrow starts day 8 of 29 straight days of work - bedtime for me! Shooting for Mid/Late Feb release of my all-time favorite toy - Navarone Army man playset. Basically it is a 3ft tall armyman playset, with 4 levels, elevator, and one big,big rock. Lovingly made for MOH:AA
3 objectives on each side, 2 random spawning (location that is)
Axis: Defend your two Cannon (Using the 5inch gun turrets for those)
This is always an objective to defend
Trigger satchel charges(thereby blowing up the building it spawns in)
Occurs in 1 of 4 spots
Destroy 3 landing craft/transports *(More on this in a minute)
Allies: Blow up Cannons
This is always and objective for the Allies
Sabotage Ammo Dump (Blow up supplies)
Occurs in 1 of 4 spots
Cut German Communication lines
Occurs in 1 of 3 spots
Something a little different, in that as long as you can get more objectives completed, you'll beat your opponent. Killing em all works too.
Spawn points are scattered, there will not be any grenade spam (like in the Hunt), nor will you be able to kill someone in about 5 seconds of spawning. I know most MOH folks won't like it - you'll have to think rather than just rush or camp a spot. I'll post some screenies when I have more time, like I said, I need some sleep!
Did I mention the defense guns work?
