Light/ Making Moon

Post by echo_rancid »

I was wondering if anyone could help me with the key/values for making a moon. I want it to be very dark but I want there to be alot of moon light flooding the whole map...I also would like shadows. Any help would be appreciated.

Moon produces a little blue light so try this:

key: suncolor
value: 26 26 37

key: ambientlight
value: 6 6 8

If you don't want stars, then use "common/caulksky" as your sky texture. That sky will use the color of the farplane, like this.

$world farplane_color 0 0 .2 // blueish black

That line can be in your script, so you can test different colors.

I prefer put this line in the script. Then the fog can be changed when I want
