this would actually be more favored to the skinning/modelling section or the help wanted offered section. planes out of brushes might not exactly work too well.
You might ask over at http://www.mods-r-us.net . They have one that circles the field. Players spawn in it, and parachute to the ground where flyable planes are.
Making one out of script_objects wouldnt be pretty, but it would let you walk around in the plane. the plane could circle around, and around the map. The allies would spwan in it and decide where to jump out for themselves! it could be a great DM adevnture! For the parachuting mechanism you could call up sfx and ask how they did it!Then you could have a huge, continuous d-day night map! It would be seriously cool....
oh wait im getting ahead of myself again.. well anyway you could make it out of script_objects and, it wouldnt look pretty but youd need to diminish the need for even more extensive scripts. Thankyou! AND GOODNIGHT!
Fungus has left the building.
Explanation to line 7... Hey what can i say.. i like to type...
Problems I can see with makeing a model of a cargo plane .
1. Frames per second maybe too low with a model
2. bounding box of model may get in the way or you may have to make collision for it .
3. being high up in the map you can see too much of the map you probably will get an error in the console like Ran out of space in the sperical lighting array . That is caused by too many surfaces being lite or drawn at the same time you probably won't get that error on the ground
4. The walls of the plane as it moves will hurt the player as it moves and the player does not

answer to number 3: You could make a tiny door and make the fog very THICK.
answer to number4: Make the path very BIG to minimise too sharp turns.
