Hello all! Is there any web site that teaches you how to script?

no, but this one is very good for reference.

There are some tutorials that teach you how to script certain things, on this site, manstein, nemesis... etc...

but there I've never seen anything dedicated to teaching you how to script overall. However...

this page has alot of reference info on the scripting language.

basicaly you pick up scriptiong by looking at other scripts that do things, and by becoming familiar with the language itself. Aside from tutorials on individual instances of HOWTO's Ive never seen one document meant to teach scripting.

Doesnt mean it doesnt exist I guess... just that I never seen it. Bajrne's(umm i think thier his) scripting references that can be found at the link above are the closest Ive seen. It doesnt teach you to script, but it provides a good amount of data on commands and procedures that are present in the language.

Yep, I think that messing around with it alot and being able to see something u like in a script and just C&P it into ur script. I do the same thing with html.

well, I guess if it doesn't exist u have to make it from scratch.

everything pretty much exists here ,so u can alter it in one way or another and it'll work for u .u just need a basic grasp of scripting so u can know what to alter

When you do learn some of the scripting language it may help to read the single player scripts .
