Hay all I'm back. Ok on to my question. Now I knowthat I saw a post explaining how to make fans that work but I seem to not be able to find it now. Its hard being challened sometimes....lol. anyways any help I can get would be great. Thanks in advance

Ok I got the making the fan down (after I did a little tweaking...part of the learning curve). Now I need to find a sound for the fan, not very realistic with no sound while the fan is spinning you know.

If you make a fan using func_rotatingdoor the you should check the box "not players" or else if a player gets close to the fan and press use it will stop and can't start again.

I've posted that in the original thread for making fans when using func_rotatingdoor, but it wasn't in the link above!

You can also script fans or make fans by using a rotating texture

eh! Forgot about this to

key: rotatez (axis to rotate around, can be rotatex and rotatey too)
value: 360 (this is the speed of the rotation)
