how can i tell how many times an AI has fired? i want a certin guy to fire off about 10-15 clips in my level and then holster and pull out a pistol. i jsut need to know the command for detecting when a shot has been fired. :wink: thanks in advance :)

Impossible with the way AI works... the anim scripts are such a mess even the original developers couldn't sort it out anymore... hence also the AI reload behaviour is erratic.

What would happen to an AI that has two weapons and his main one was removed by the script--after a set amount of time?

jv: awww. how did you plan to do it in bots2? when we were on the uberclan server the bot rocketeers would run out of shots after 6 shots, how did you detect shots? oh wait, did you create the bot script without any stock AI elements at all? :shock:

tltrude: what i was planning was a holster and .gun change to a colt 45 :wink:
