Good small custom maps needed

Post by ANIMAL »

Hi Lads
Can anyone recommend any good small FFA maps for a 1v1 ladder and tournament. Preferably a link to a download if you have it....

Check this thread

My fave was russia(www.mapraider.com) and the fast and furious maps(links on that thread), though they're not suitable for snipers at all, if that's what you're looking for.

I worked my ass off on selecting and optimizing 3 maps for a league that never took off: Stalingrad1943, Canal and Pipeline: http://dynamic6.gamespy.com/%7Erjukanpr ... nload_maps
( Oh crap, I just realized that Stalingrad1943 is not linked to, and the canal DM is of an old version, I'll fix that in an hour or so )

Hi thanks for the reply.
I've played some of your maps and they are very good. The Lib Canal Beta in particular is a fav of mine. But for 1v1 i think thay are probably a bit too big and complex.

I'd like to find some maps that dont provide too many places to hide ... ie spending a half hour looking for some camper just to get shot in the back when i stumble upon them is not my idea of fun.

Playability is my biggest concern when choosing these maps. Open plan with no dead ends much like the shooting range in Basic Training in Moh:AA.

Thanks

How about my Murders_row map? It is real small and has a nice (Starwars) fell to it. Just click on my signature logo to find it.

Btw, the .map file comes with it. So, you can mod it to whatever you need. Most of my tutorial maps are 1v1 also.

If u use the search function, there are even 2 links with the map on filefront. dunno what they did or why... Anyway, u could also get the map files on recyclingbin and even adjust the maps to your needs
