Do you hear footsteps and gunfire?

If so: just add

Code: Select all

exec global/ambient.scr obj_team2
...for the V2 background, or:

Code: Select all

exec global/ambient.scr obj_team3
...for omaha.

( ad in main in the map scrip that is... )

Then my guess is you have your map in <MOHAA>/main/maps

This is where SP maps should be, but they require some scripting to get sound.

Place your map in <MOHAA>/main/maps/dm or <MOHAA>/main/maps/obj and you should have some standard sounds.

background sounds

You must have a script for your map to get the ambient background sound. The script file (.scr) must have the same name as your map (.bsp). You can just copy one of the stock scripts from Pak5.pk3/maps/dm and modify it to work with your map.

The .scr files can be opened with Notepad, if you change the extention to .txt . And, .pk3 files can be unzipped using Winzip, if the extentoin (of a copy) is changed to .zip .
