This way you'd make a cap for a bevel, u must go:
curve>primitives>bevel
that just makes another bevel :/

and making a brush, then going curve>cap>bevel doesnt do anything....

i can make the actual bevel but not the caps for it.

So, I take it like this:

1st, u make a brush
-> You get a brush :D
2nd, you keep the brush selected
-> The brush is tinted red :D
3rd, you do Curve/Primitive/Bevel
-> The brush turns into a bevel :D
4th, you keep the bevel selected
-> The bevel is tinted red :D
5th, you do Curve/Caps/Bevel
-> You get that small green box

Could you post a screenshot of this green thing? And/or a link to what u've done?

there.... and i did exactly what that previous list you just made says...

1) made a brush, converted it to a bevel using curve>primitive>bevel
2)selected the bevel, went curve>cap>becel
3) got a green box entity looking thing.

extra 2) I also tried making the cap from a completely new brush here instead of selecting the bevel, but this didnt do anything

:?: what happens when u cap cylinders?
:?: did u reinstall radiant? which version (mine is 1.01)?
:?: what are ur preferences like? here are mine:
Image
:!: ur norton is not active
:?: what happens if u open a map file with a capped bevel? here's one e.g.
:?: what happens if u - instead of curve/cap/bevel - choose curve/cap/cylinder.dialog
:?: why don't u scale ur screenshots to something decent? I see a pretty photoshop icon on ur screen. Ever tried 'save for web'?

That little green box looks just like the thingy you will get if you don't have the entdefs.pk3 in your main, like if you load a map with many scripted models in it, only some green boxes (models) will appear.
But I don't know if that also would be with creating bevels?? :?

edit: i deleted the lines which became obsolete when AtOmic found the solution

Nevertheless, I found some things in your preferences you might better change:
Wide toolbar - would give u some nice additional buttons, check it out
Paint sizing info - might be annoying, but well, I think it's helpful
Use Quake3 map format - ought to cause lots of trouble when checked
Texture scale - textures seem to be made rather for a scale of 0.5, they look better then. So I'd change this to 0.5
Snapshots - U'll have to delete them once in a while, because they get many, but u'll love them after ur radiant did crash... U can wait for the time coming

Wahoo, it does. AtOmic, this was a good one :D

so, Szico, find ur entdefs.pk3 in ur radiant folder and copy it in mohaa/main (or is it mohaa/mainta for SH?) and things ought to be good finally. And u'll even be able to set a player start then
