One Question!

Hey guys whats up!

I only want to ask something about server, here we go.

-How do i make a server?

And please dont tell me to go to mohaaadmin.com or something else cause that web is shit so.

I have an ADSL firewall router, and the mohaa runner to get in my server, but whenever i run the program it doesnt get it the server it stays with the console window open.

So my dad thinks that that means that my ports arent open so how can i see my ports? and i dont have a fast IP adress.

Can anyone help me?

The server you are running something called a dedicated server. The console window is supposed to stay up. You are still able to join your own server that way.

Another way to start a server is to go into the game and go to multiplayer, start server. Edit the settings to your liking. Uncheck dedicated server. Hit start.

If no one can join your server then, yes, you need to open certain ports for your router. Find out the company of your router and go to their website's troubleshooting. You will need to ask the company how to do it because each company uses a different method.

Post the settings for what? The server? If so, just go into AA and go to multiplayer. On the right, there will be an area where you can click to make a server. Click on Team Deathmatch. For the start map, it should be on mohdm1 by default. Check use gamespy and uncheck use dedicated server if you need to. Then hit start.

teh setings TDM, and the map dont matter. tehy're interchangeable.

routers need special port forwarding, i suggest you pull out your manual and hceck the ip you have for the router, open up Explorer, and type in the IP of the router without www or .com or anything, it'll allow you to configure the router.
