I can't help it. The strangest stuff fascinates me. The mechanics of 3D engines is really interesting because there are so many things you have to consider and deal with. I spent almost 2 years trying to fit a modified Q2 engine into an XBox game. Ever tried to figure out how you are going to get 150 different character models, skins and animations into a game, in 32 meg?
