Moh:PA rants from Fungus

Post by Master-Of-Fungus-Foo-D »

I bought the directors edition(only version in store) for 60 bucks. had my Band performance(play th' trombone) and then got home at about 8:00 and then installed it. Install went ok but then when i went to play it, it crashed. The reason? my PC met evety1 one of the minimum specs and a few of the recomended ones, except for the ,in my opinon large 512mb of memory it requires(ive got 128:P)! i bought a new Video Card just to play the demo ($99) and now ive got to buy more memory?($30 sumthing)
man this is CRAZY?!

it's life, you buy a good game, you HAVE to have good specs! 128 mbs of RAM is about as old as Windows 95. i'm sorry but you gotta get good equipment to game with

Yes, and boosting a comp from 128MB is one of the most cost effective ways to boost overall comp performance.

Yeah, you can't play a high-tech game without a lot of RAM.

If I may make a suggestion, http://www.newegg.com has a large selection of memory with good prices.

Yep I had to upgrade video card to play! I'm probably going to upgrade from 512Mb to 1Gb at the end of the year, then probably save up (and hopefully the prices will be down) for one of those super expensive cards. Hopefully these upgrades will keep me up-to-date for at least 2 and a half years, which then my comp would be 4 years old, so it'd be about time to get a whole new computer.
