I did, but having to backup data is not all. Having a prog that always crashes is a pain. Just like win98 used to do, it was a pain.

Maybe it's due to deadlines for the internal tools programmers at EA, so the prog is doing "fine" though not "perfect" and they are not given any additionnal time to "improve" it.

Anyway, i'll probably give it a try when it's out. :)

No, I mean thats the radiant, reguardless of what game your modding for that supports radiant material.

Game developers can only make their tools as strong as the tools core they are using unless they start from scratch.

Here is a little story I wrote about the trip for EA Sweden ( Translated naturally). Lists some of the engine characteristics at the end.

Oh boy! I'm a bit over excited about the MDK. I am curious about one thing though. Is the import/export feature only gonna support one 3d modeling programs? Or will it support multiple 3d programs?
Bjarne BZR: I can say one thing for all us modders to prepare to mod MOH:PA:
Start to learn Milkshape ( or a 3D modeler program like Maya, 3D studio or Lightwave ).
I myself hope that it supports multiple 3d programs. Because creating something in one program, and then having to turn around and export it to another just to import that object into the game seems a bit of a hassle. But this is just my opinion.

I agree completely.

well modelling progs use things called plugins to convert types, and i imagine PA uses it's own type with it's own plugin, so i think you're safe with whatever prog you use.

The MDK will ship with an import/export plugin for Milkshape. The reason for this is that milkshape can read formats from most other 3D modeling programs.

So in essence:
1) Use any program you want.
2) Import it to Milkshape.
3) Export it to MH:PA
