That is true, you will be aware of the overtime involvement and it does actually pay off "IF" you manage to stay untill the end of a certain project.
If the project you have been working on is successfull then you will be paid a certain ammount of profit if you invested allot of time in it.
These bonusses can turn out very big.
Your sacrefice will be at least 1 to 2 years of many unpaid over hours which I personally would'nt agree for since I have a family to take care of.
My old room mate even skipped nights staying at the office without any sleep.
Very unhealthy but he did not care and it did pay off for him in the end.
