yeh, i know, just what u said about the connection between the 2 (why don't people say phpBB lol), well it reminded of once someone told me "PHP is crap, Nuke is loads better..." which made me laugh. So I said "Yeh, C++ is so lame, Microsoft WOrd is the way to go", so that's where that came from lol.
And about PHP being an enhanced version of HTML... that's wrong. HTML is a static language, PHP dynamic. If PHP was simply an enhancment, it wopuld be static. YOu have to know PHP to really realize whatr it can do, as to normal people PHP is HTML, as all output (even that of viewing the source in the browser) is HTML. Behind the scenes, PHP is ALOT more than an enhanced version of HTML - that is XHTML/JavaScript's area more.
And abotu C++ being alot more complicated than PHP - your right, however they both have very similar syntax, and way of programming. And now PHP5 introduces Object Orientated Programming, they are getting more and more like each other. Although obviously C++ can handle alot wider varitey of things.
