Just wondering what programs you use to make your fine mohaa models,
I started using Maya 6 and its pretty hard to start of with and Its hard to create exact replicas of things, i think its the most expenisive but is it the best choice for making gun models etc?
Whats your opinions. Thanks

This has not been discussed many times, but no one in the world can give you a good tip on the best 3d modeling program. There are clans out there for maya, and 3dsmax. Both sware that their program is the best program. But it is up to you to decide.
Here is a small tip:

I've seen this topic discussed on many 3d site forums. They go on to talk about how there isnt one specific program that is the best. It's totally up to the user as to which that they use. So it's really up to you whether you use Maya, 3DSMax, or even Gmax. Which ever program that suits you is the one you should use.

Blender ( http://www.blender3d.com/ ) is opensource ( free to use ) and from what I understand a very competent 3D modeler.
I'm told that it compares more to Maya / 3D Studio than the lesser modelers. But I'm a programmer, what do I know
