Snowcontest question

Hey all,

I made my own map and added these lines under level waittill spawn:

level.addsnow = 1
level.snowmood = 1

It is all working fine but i want to change the farplane. I know how to edit it but i have to edit the original snowcontest file.. So other people have to download the modded snowcontest.
How can I change the farplane without change the original user-snowcontest2.pk3

Keep level.snowmood at 0 and add some fog manually
