Battlefield 1942 style mohaa
does anyone know how to script a map where the objective is like that of battlefield 1942? (capture points where if you have all capture points your team wins)

the only working example of these types of maps that I am aware of are 'push' style capture the flag maps, tho the ones in existence dont mess with spawns that I know of...
If i ever get back to it, I had a map set i na stalingrad like train station, where I was goign to add a push CTF objective, that changed the spawns when you captured a flag(which is essentialy the same as conquest)

It is easy to script spawn changes, the only challenge is designing your objective type as to how and why they change, scripting the scoring to win the round, and so that it is a fun and balanced format.
There are several ways to do an area control map(whatever you want to call it push/wave/conquest/kingofthehill etc etc) but you need the right map for it.
You can do it by useable triggers(like for a ctf) or by trigger_multiples if people just need to control an area...
you just have to think of exactly how you want the map to be, and im sure it will be scriptable.
