I would like to know how people get on the roof across from the power wire room in southern france.

I've seen guys up by the smoking chimney, can't figure it out.

Or how they get behind the gate without a cheat??

go up to the building with teh walkway, go out on the East balcony (near the roof) jump on the railing, stand, jump (angle it towards the roof) teh line is solid, so you'll be able to stand on it, and walk up the line over teh roof. pick yourself a spot and lean left into the wall for a glitch. i've gotten 20 kills with no death at one point with a sniper doing that.

you can jsut walk across the little overhang too to get to the smoking chimney, but people epect that.

Here you go hogleg...

Map: Southern France
Difficulty: easy
Overview: Getting behind the gate and/or behind the smokey chimney.

Overview Map:


Starting at shot1, get a friend, because this trick requires TWO people.


(Red - Path; Green - Optional Path; Yellow - Key ledges; Light Blue - body crouching location(s))

Step 1 - Simply have a friend crouch on the balcony railing, jump on his head and than on the roof (keep pressing or you will fall off!),
Step 2 - follow it around, over the dividing wall and up onto the next roof (you can walk normal on this roof)

Green path is the same way,
Step 1 - just have a friend crouch, jump on his head
Step 2 - Jump so that he can stand up for a higher base, than jump on the divider.

Follow the roof around til you get to the tower area.


(Red - Path; Yellow - Key ledge; Blue - Jump location)

Step 1 - jump onto the lip of the 'tower' and press against it (or you will fall off!)
Step 2 - When you get about a foot away from the corner(s) of the tower, jump OVER the corner, you cant walk around it, so jumping OVER it will have to suffice.
Step 3 - Do the same for the next corner, jump down onto the roof and continue around the roofing, as shoon in this next screenshot :



Red is the path, just follow it around, stay at the chimney if you wish, but if you want behind the gate jump down onto the adjacent roof and back behind the gate. ta dah.

Warning: Most servers kick you if you are behind that gate because you can hit them, but they cant hit you (with the exception of the grenade). Considered 'cheating'.

At0mic, no need to ask me, man, just explain all you want, when you want! I wont be bothered.

An other alternation way (in blue):



Jump from the railing on the door, then you can jump on the roof.
You don't need someone else for this one, but this is a hard way..

actualy once you get used to the solo jump, its about 1/3 to make it for me, which isnt bad, the stalingrad jump is probably harder.

but yea, gettign people to sit still so you can jump on them is a pain in the arse, so try the solo way.
